At GoMySalon (hereinafter, "the Platform"), operated by GoMySalon S.L. with registered office in Madrid, Spain, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect the personal information you provide when using our services.

  • Salon data: trade name, address, phone, hours and logo of the salon you register on the platform.
  • Salon client data: name, phone and email of the clients the salon registers to manage their bookings.
  • Usage data: information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used and access times.
  • Payment data: securely processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card data on our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system and cookie data.

3. Purpose of processing

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Service provision: managing your account, processing bookings and facilitating communication between salons and clients.
  • Billing and payments: managing subscriptions and payments through Stripe.
  • Service improvement: analyzing platform usage to improve the user experience.
  • Communications: sending you relevant information about your account, service changes or important updates.
  • Legal compliance: meeting applicable legal and tax obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

The processing of your data is based on:

  • Performance of a contract: processing is necessary to provide the service you have contracted.
  • Consent: for sending marketing communications and the use of non-essential cookies.
  • Legitimate interest: for service improvement and fraud prevention.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax and legal obligations.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal data while you keep an active account on the platform. After account cancellation, data will be kept blocked for the legal period required to handle potential liabilities (generally 5 years for tax data). Salon client data will be deleted or anonymized within 90 days of salon account cancellation.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with:

  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), email services for transactional notifications.
  • Public authorities: when required by law or court order.

All our providers are subject to data processing agreements and comply with GDPR.

7. International transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed on servers located in the European Union (AWS region eu-west-1). In the event of a transfer outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place under GDPR (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, etc.).

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data when no longer needed.
